Antar Dayal

A Californian artist who learned to see in Italy, made an image that shaped a presidency, lost everything in a wildfire — and began again with polar ice as his subject and time as his medium.

This site is currently in development. Antar Dayal's work was presented at the Malta Biennale 2026 (11 March – 29 May) as part of The Last Ice Project — an ongoing body of work developed from expeditions to Svalbard, the Arctic ice edge, and the Antarctic Peninsula.
